HOSPITAL VISITATIONS
HEART HEALTH NSW INC. have a team of volunteers who visit the hospital regularly, particularly the Cardiac Care unit and ICU where we talk to patients, carers and family about "Life after a Heart Attack".
We are there to listen and give first hand support as we have been through it either as a patient or a carer.
In order to become a volunteer who visits the hospital you must:
1. have been diagnosed with a heart condition and had your most recent event no less than 3 months previously
2. Be a carer, spouse, partner or family member of a person with a heart condition
3. Be an interested person and willing to uphold the principles of HEART HEALTH NSW Inc.
4. Be a financial member of HEART HEALTH NSW Inc.
